Dr Vijay Malik, Civil Surgeon, Panipat, visited NC Medical College & Hoispital, Israna, Panipat on 30th July 2025. He was accompanied by Dr. Bijendra Singh, Deputy Civil Surgeon, Panipat.
On behalf of the Medical College Management, Major General Dr PK Singh, VSM (Retd), Principal, welcomed and honored the guests.
The Principal briefed the Civil Surgeon about the Medical College & Hospital facilities and activities undertaken for the general public.
As part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0’ campaign, Dr. Vijay Malik planted a sapling in the College premises. He was joined by the Principal Dr PK Singh, Dr NK Kalia, Medical Superintendent, Dr Sushma Sood (Emeritus Professor), Dr. Nivedita Pandey, Dean Academics, Lt Col Ram Kumar, Estate Officer, Dr Kamaljeet Singh, Professor and Head of the Department of Community Medicine, Dr Mahender Singh, Associate Professor, Dr. Vedpal, Professor, Dr Himani, Associate Professor, Dr Swati Jarole, Assistant Professor.
Following this, the guests visited the Department of Community Medicine. The HOD Prof Kamaljeet Singh and his team briefed him about the Public Health activities being undertaken by NC Medical College & Hospital.
During his visit, Dr Vijay Malik appreciated the efforts made by the institution in strengthening Public Health sources and Implementing National Health Programmes. He acknowledged the active involvement of the Hospital in Community Outreach and Capacity Building. He assured full support from the Health Department in all future collaborative initiatives.
The Civil Surgeon expressed his gratitude to the Institution’s Management for their hospitality and commitment to Public Health.
